Cameron Chisholm Nicol won a competition to design an office development located on Horrie Miller Drive at the Perth International Airport.

The design intent is to create a commercially viable project offering an unusually large floor plate to attract large tenants, whilst maintaining the flexibility to accommodate smaller tenancies. Kewpoint will deliver a high performance, quality working environment for over 500 people, targeting 4.5 star NABERS rating.

The design is derived from an H-shaped plan, with a central 3-storey atrium containing the circulation core and connecting two large uninterrupted office floor plates. This allows the development to offer a range of tenancy sizes from 400m² to 3,250m².

The exterior is inspired by the aesthetic of an aircraft hangar. The roof appears to fold down and become the east and west walls, protecting the offices within. The walls feature colourful panels arranged as an abstract representation of a geological stratification diagram, referencing its expected tenancy by mining industry companies.
