‘Partners in Practice’

Last week we had the chance to reflect on the history of the firm with the discovery of a short documentary called “Partners in Practice”. The film was made in 1984 when Gil Nicol and Ross Chisholm were jointly awarded the RAIA Gold Medal. Their work continues to be recognised, with their projects winning The Richard Roach Jewell Award for Enduring Architecture two years in a row. In 2017 it was awarded to the Reid Library and Allendale square received the same accolade earlier this year. Ross and Gil’s highly creative partnership spanned more than two decades and shaped a legacy of sustainability and innovation that we work to uphold today. We are very proud of our practice’s significant architectural heritage and contribution to the built fabric of our city.
