When you join Cameron Chisholm Nicol you become a part of Western Australia’s longest-established architectural practice. We know we are only as good as our people, and every member of our team is important to us.

We offer a vibrant and inclusive culture, with the opportunity to work on interesting projects across a range of scales and sectors. We actively encourage our staff to learn and grow professionally, as well as to participate in the social life of our studio.

We believe in practicing what we preach. We are a City Switch company and have an in-house Design and Sustainability Committee. We support charities through fundraising via regular social events, and foster design culture through our student awards and Open House Perth.

We value a balanced life and understand that family comes first. We avoid overtime, but in the event that additional working hours are required we offer time–off–in–lieu.

Our studio is above the Hay Street Mall and is easily accessible by public transport. We are right in the heart of the city’s expanding array of shops, eating places, bars, and entertainment and cultural venues.

Our workplace – the adaptive re-use of a heritage building designed by George Temple Poole – is a light and airy space equipped with up–to–date workstations, excellent amenities and a great coffee machine.

We hold regular staff information sessions and presentations, at which we share projects and listen to guest speakers. Afternoon drinks on Fridays and quarterly lunches provide the opportunity to socialise in a relaxed environment.
